Love is in the Air! Valentine's Dinner/Dance for Seniors
- Where/When: 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11 at Peninsula Retirement.
- Why Go: Celebrate Valentine's Day early with a dinner and some dancing. The wine bar opens at 4:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 5. Las Vegas DJ, Sheldon Miller, will be there so bring your dancing shoes or plan to sing a love song with the DJ!
- Cost: $10
Read My Lips...Valentine's Day Weekend Specials at Morso
- Where/When: 4-10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at Morso.
- Why Go: Looking for a perfect Valentine's date this weekend? Bring your special somebody to Morso's for an amazing 4-course romantic dinner. Check out our event listing for more information about Morso's Valentine's Day weekend specials and menu details.
- Cost: $65 per person.
Make Valentine Cards at Key Center Library
- Where/When: 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11 at Key Center Pierce County Library
- Why Go: Haven't picked up a card for your Valentine yet? No sweat. Just drop by the Key Center Library to make your own handmade card.
- Cost: Free
Fox Island Museum's Winter Book Sale
- Where/When: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11 at Fox Island Historical Society Museum.
- Why Go: Come stock up on books for your winter reading this Saturday at the Fox Island Historical Museum. There will be a huge selection of used books of many different categories from mystery to children's and even movies.
- Cost: Admission is free.
Second Annual S'more on the Range Day
- Where/When: 12-4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12 at the Gig Harbor Sportsman's Club.
- Why Go: Toast your own graham cracker, brown the marshmallow to any shade you wish, combine with a bit of Heaven chocolate from Trop's and enjoy. It's Thom Halligan's way to say 'thank you' to the community for their support of the GHSC archery range.
- Cost: This is a complimentary event so just bring your appetite! Napkins provided.
Rokkerbox Show - Benefiting FISH Foodbank
- Where/When: 9:30 p.m. - 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11 at Hy-Iu-Hee-Hee.
- Why Go: Enjoy the sounds of Rokkerbox, a local rock 'n' roll staple, this Saturday at the Hy-Iu! Rokkerbox fuses classic rock with influences of Surf, Punk, Blues, Rockabilly, and Country. The show, starting at 9:30 p.m., benefits local families and is sure to be a good time!
- Cost: Admission is $3 or get in free with two canned food donations.
