Vicci Martinez Rocks on 'The Voice'

The native of Tacoma dazzled the judges on the new NBC talent-finding show, which awards $100,000 and a recording contract.

If you missed your chance to see , you're in luck. Last Tuesday, the Tacoma native wowed the celebrity judges as millions tuned in to watch the new talent discovery show "The Voice" on NBC.

Her powerful performance of "Rolling in the Deep" by Adele turned the heads of Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera, who sit on a panel of four vocal coaches. The other two are Maroon 5's Adam Levine and country singer Blake Shelton.

"Vicci Martinez killed it with a cute spark and a huge presence," said Michael ONeill, an artist and a local radio host. "I love watching the world see her as she hits her stride."

In January, Martinez sang for a sold-out crowd at as part of the Americana Series hosted by the wine bar and Michael ONeill Productions.

"Her presence is fabulous," said Morso co-owner Steve Lynn. "She was great, and we support her completely as she takes her style and presence to the world."

Martinez will now advance in the competition as part of "Team Cee Lo." She will battle against other artists on the show.

According to NBC.com, the viewers will get to vote to save one contestant at the end of the battle episodes. The winner will receive $100,000 and a recording contract.
