Dahlia Trial Garden at Point Defiance Park

Amazing flowers at the Dahlia Trial Garden.

My boyfriend and I stopped by the Dahlia Trial Garden at Point Defiance Park on Saturday.

The garden is sponsored by the Washington State Dahlia Society (WSDS), and each year, the dahlias are scored by official judges of the American Dahlia Society.

Dahlias receiving between 85 and 100 points are included in the annual classification book. They are then named and become available to the general public.

I was awestruck by these beautiful flowers! If you have a chance to go sometime soon, I strongly recommend it!

With some researching, I'm definitely looking forward to next summer so I can plant them in the yard (let's hope my cat won't eat them!).

Here are the photos of my favorite ones. Let me know which one you like the best in the comments section! If you also have any tips on growing dahlias, I'd appreciate it!

No problem. Welcome Brent. By the way, I'm a graphic artist, have any need for ad design?
