City of Gig Harbor Releases Film Lineup for CinemaGig Outdoor Movie Series

This year's CinemaGig Outdoor Movie Series include all-time favorite films like Sound of Music and Field of Dreams.

City of Gig Harbor's CinemaGig Outdoor Movie Series returns to the Habor this summer at a new location. 

Due to construction at Donkey Creek Park, all movies this summer will be held at Skansie Brothers Park in historic downtown Gig Harbor.  

This year’s lineup:

AMERICA’S PASTIME WEEKEND

Friday, July 5 Field of Dreams 9:15 p.m. Saturday, July 6 The Sandlot 9:15 p.m.   

AMERICA’S FAVS WEEKEND

Friday, July 19 American Graffiti 9 p.m. Saturday, July 20 The Princess Bride 9 p.m.   

ENVIRONMENTAL WEEKEND

Friday, Aug. 2 The Lorax 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3 Fern Gully 8:30 p.m.   

CLASSICS WEEKEND     

Friday, Aug. 16 Casablanca 8:15 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 Sound of Music 8:15 p.m.   

Times are approximate. Movies will start when it is dark enough. Movies are cancelled during rain or high wind. Bring chairs or blankets.
