Comcast Employees Will Volunteer to 'Make Change Happen' at Kenneth Leo Marvin Veterans Park

They will be spreading bark and other work as part of Comcast Cares Day, the company's signature day of service and the national's largest single-day corporate volunteer event April 27.

On April 27, Comcast employees from the Bremerton/Kitsap area and their families and friends will “make change happen” as they volunteer to do park maintenance at Gig Harbor’s Kenneth Leo Marvin Veterans Memorial Park as part of Comcast Cares Day.

Comcast Cares Day is Comcast and NBCUniversal’s signature day of service and the nation’s largest single-day corporate volunteer effort. The City of Gig Harbor Park’s staff is happy to work with all of the volunteers at Comcast as well as other corporate efforts such as these to help maintain and beautify our local parks.  It really can “make change happen”.

The Kenneth Leo Marvin Park is located in Gig Harbor’s west side and has a ball field, restroom and picnic shelter. Comcast volunteers will be spreading bark and doing additional park maintenance on Saturday, April 27.
