Company of Suspicious Book Salesman Says He's Been Removed From Area
Southwestern Advantage also apologized for the disturbances.
News of a suspicious book salesman near Gig Harbor lately prompted a big response on our Facebook page.
In fact, one of the responses came from Southwestern Advantage, the company with whom the man is apparently employed. It posted the following on our page:
This student rep, Gareth, has been removed from Gig Harbor and the Peninsula School District. We wish to express our apologies for the disturbances. We invite residents to please call us if we can help provide clarity or further information at 888-602-7867. Thank you.
The Peninsula School District reported that a parent reported aggressive, repeated sales tactics and kids reported, to their parents, the man asking them to identify where kids lived and they declined.
