Donate Food and Supplies to Soldiers Returning Home From Afghanistan

Help welcome home the soldiers with the 201st Battlefield Surveillance Brigade by supplying "welcome home bags".

The soldiers with the 201st Battlefield Surveillance Brigade Joint Base Lewis-McChord return home from Afghanistan in the next 60 days, and the City of Gig Harbor is asking the community to help welcome them home.

According to GigHarborGuide.com, 243 soldiers of the brigade do not have family in the area and will go to the barracks when they come back.

To show our appreciation for the men and women serving our country, the City of Gig Harbor is asking local residents to help supply "welcome home bags", which will be placed on the soldiers' beds.
