Featured Announcement: Scholarships for Gig Harbor Women

Gig Harbor Patch would like to extend a special thanks to Elizabeth Robinson, who posted an announcement about the Minerva Scholarship Fund. It is specifically designed for women in the Gig Harbor/Peninsula School District who wish to return to school after having set aside their asperations due to other priorities. Want to post your own announcement on Gig Harbor Patch? 

Here's a step-by-step:

1. First, create a user profile by clicking "Join" at the top right of the homepage. If you already have an account, go ahead and log into the site by clicking "Sign In," also located at the top right of the homepage. 
2. Hover your mouse over the "Events" tab on the top of the page, then click on "Announcements."
3. On the right side of the Announcements page, click "Add an Announcement."
4. Give your event a title.
5. Select a category.
6. Fill out the description.
7. Click "Post My Announcement."
8. We also recommend that you add photos, videos or a flier, click "Upload Photos, Videos & JPGs" from the menu above your posted event and follow the prompts.
9. Share your announcement on Facebook and tell all your friends how easy it was!
