Frugal Family: An Affordable Trip to the Symphony

Tacoma Philharmonic offers an excellent Kids Koncert program for families to enjoy.

Enjoy a morning at the symphony with your child for a wonderful price through the Kids Koncert series. Twin sisters Lisa Allison and Linda Sebenius team up to bring classical music into the lives of children throughout Washington with their Let Your Music Shine productions.

Saturday, March 12 marks the final show in the Kids Koncert series with an animal themed presentation. Singing Safari offers two sittings of a 45-minute interactive show which features symphony instrument presentations, sing-along songs and classical favorites.

The educational concert offers sights and sounds to keep any budding musician entertained. The shows are specifically designed for children under eight so they are fast-paced and very family-friendly.
