Gig Harbor Library Offers Free Computer Classes

Improve your computer skills with free Pierce County Library System classes.

The Pierce County Library System will be offering free computer classes at the during May and June.

Classes in computer basics include Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and Word or navigating the Internet and email.

Job searchers will find résumé assistance and free Library resources. Mobile device and e-reader owners will learn about using apps and free e-books and audiobooks, including Kindle.  

Register for classes at a Pierce County Library or sign up on the Library’s online calendar at piercecountylibrary.org/calendar.

  • Word 2010 for Beginners II, Tuesday, May 15, 2 – 4 p.m.

  • Apps for Beginners, Tuesday, June 5, 2 – 4 p.m.
  • Drop-In Help, Tuesday, June 12, 2 – 4 p.m.
  • The Next Good Read, Tuesday, June 19, 2 – 4 p.m.
  • Drop-In Help, Tuesday, June 26, 2 – 4 p.m.
