Gig Harbor Police Carry Special Olympics Torch Thursday Afternoon
A trio from the department carried the "Flame of Hope" throughout town.
As we reported earlier, the Gig Harbor Police Department was scheduled to carry the torch for this weekend's Special Olympics through town.
I just caught a trio of them – including a blue bandanna-sporting Chief Mike Davis - Carrying the torch down Burnham Drive.
They then carried the "Flame of Hope" along Harborview Drive, up Soundview Drive, and eventually over the bridge.
