Gig Harbor Soldier Overseas Sends Holiday Greetings to Her Daughter Back Home
Staff Sgt. Lorien Anslow is serving in Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany.
Though thousands of miles away, Staff Sgt. Lorien Anslow was able to send a touching message to her daughter back home in Gig Harbor, just in time for the holidays.
In a short video clip, she said: "I just want to say I love you and I miss you and I'll see you soon."
Anslow, who's currently stationed in Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany, is one of more than 100 soldiers from Washington who were allowed to record video messages for family through the Department of Defense.
