Gig Harbor Wine and Food Festival Hires New Director

Led by seasoned festival director, Victoria Trimmer, the third annual Gig Harbor Wine and Food Festival will take place on July 14.

The Gig Harbor Wine and Food Festival is making changes in its evolution with a new date and a new Festival Director. This year’s festival will be held on July 14, and Victoria Trimmer has been hired to guide the festival as it develops during the third year of the event. 

Trimmer brings a strong background of wine event experience, including Taste Washington, Auction of Washington Wines, Washington Wines Festival and many community fundraisers featuring fine wine and food, according to event officials.

The festival, sponsored by the , will be held once again at the . This year’s event will also feature Friday night wine maker dinners, and officials are set to announce the celebrity chef in early March.

The event website is currently undergoing some major updates, but tickets are expected to go on sale soon.
