Great Escape: A Taste of Gig Harbor

Are you and your significant other looking for a night out that features a wide array of Gig Harbor’s favorite restaurants and local wineries? Add live music, local celebrities including Miss Washington USA and an opportunity to raise money for the Rotary Club of Gig Harbor and you have the 20th Anniversary A Taste of Gig Harbor.

A Taste of Gig Harbor offers a sampling of the best local cuisine in a lively atmosphere on Saturday, March 19. Featured restaurants include , The Red Rooster and Trops’ Chocolates. The event promises to be an entertaining evening that benefits projects, services and organizations connected to the Rotary Club of Gig Harbor. 

The evening will feature a silent and live auction in addition to a raffle. The impressive list of auction items includes Seattle Mariners memorabilia, a handmade pool table, rejuvenating vacations and a vintage electric guitar. 

Past fundraisers for The Rotary Club of Gig Harbor have supported local community projects like the observation deck at Donkey Creek, the Skansie Pavillion and the Midway School restoration for the . A Taste of Gig Harbor has also focused globally to support programs in Guatemala, Peru and Ethiopia. 

So gather up some friends to enjoy the best that Gig Harbor has to offer while giving back to the community. With an estimated attendance of 250 to 300 patrons, A Taste of Gig Harbor promises to deliver a night to remember!
