Harbor Covenant Church Offers Monday Evening Service

The gathering will include time to discuss relevant issues and engage with the topic through video, songs, prayer, art, and communion.

Harbor Covenant Church will offer a new service on Monday evenings at 7 p.m., beginning Sept. 16. The gathering will include time to discuss relevant issues and engage with the topic through video, songs, prayer, art, and communion.

Harbor Covenant saw a need in the community to provide an alternative gathering for those who work on Sundays and those who want help making sense of the world around them, their place in it, and how God is at work in their lives.

Blake Merwin, Associate Pastor of Local Outreach, said, “Our hope is to create a new community of people who typically work on Sundays such as medical professionals, fire fighters, and police officers as well as people who work in the restaurant and retail industry. Whether people have faith in God or not, we hope they find a Monday evening gathering in our cafe less intimidating than a typical Sunday morning church experience.”
