Holiday Shopping at Museum Gift Shop

The Harbor History Museum will be hosting a Scandinavian/Croatian Christmas Open House this weekend to pay tribute to the local settlers.

With the holiday shopping season just around the corner, the is hosting a traditional Scandinavian/Croatian Christmas Open House this weekend. Enjoy holiday treats and beverages made from traditional recipes of Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Croatia in tribute to Gig Harbor’s early settlers. Scandinavian and Croatian holiday costumes will be on display along with a wonderful selection of inspired gift ideas.

“The museum gift shop is a fantastic place to shop for one-of-a-kind gifts for the holidays. You’ll find everything from vintage toys to charming holiday décor and much more,” said Cheri Johnson, Gift Shop Buyer.

The Museum Gift Shop has a wide variety of items traditionally-designed glassware and serve ware, books, calendars, figurines, stocking stuffers, games, puzzles and boats, according to museum officials. The Open House will be on Nov. 18 and 19 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Harbor History Museum. Admission to the store is free.
