According to the National Weather Service, ice storm warning is in effect until 2 p.m. today, and freezing rain is expected to continue throughout this afternoon. The NWS is predicting ice accumulations of .25 to .75 inches.

If you happen to spot a branch covered in ice or icicles hanging from the gutters, feel free to post your photos to share with your neighbors. (Be careful of icy patches!)

This Afternoon: A chance of rain before 4pm, then snow likely. Snow level 800 feet. Cloudy, with a high near 36. North northeast wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Tonight: Snow likely before 10pm, then rain. Snow level rising to 1400 feet. Low around 36. North northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
