Key Center Library Completes Renovation; Open House on Feb. 16

Local residents are invited to an open house at the Key Center Library in Key Peninsula on Saturday, Feb. 16, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Key Center Library in Key Peninsula re-opened Monday, Feb. 4, following . Improvements include converting the lobby area to library space and adding more computers and movies at the facility.

Thanks to generous donations, the meeting room has been refurnished with spaces and places for students to read and study and an area for the whole community.

Pierce County Library, Pierce County Library Foundation and Friends of the Key Center Library are inviting residents to an open house at the library on Saturday, Feb. 16, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

At the open house people can see and use the new features and furnishings; preschoolers can build learning skills at block parties (1 and 3 p.m.); and children, ages 6-14, can join a computer demo and find out about computer programs including math, science, music, art and more (2 p.m.).
