Key Peninsula Livable Community Fair Set for Saturday, May 11

The family-friendly event at the Key Peninsula Civic Center is all about connecting with the community and learning about non-profits and resources on the Key Peninsula.

The Key Peninsula Civic Center Association is inviting local residents to its 12th Annual Key Peninsula Livable Community Fair on Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The family-friendly event at the Key Peninsula Civic Center is all about connecting with the community and learning about non-profits and resources on the Key Peninsula.

The event will once again be featuring Emergency Preparedness, including a row of service providers and vendors specializing in all things disaster and emergency preparedness.

New this year, the Key Peninsula Civic Center is introducing, “Spotlight”, showcasing a local business or organization, artist, and/or person of special merit to the Key Peninsula community.

Other highlights include Two Waters Arts Alliance’s kids’ craft table, trout pond fishing, and, in collaboration with Key Pen Parks, a “Summer Camp” fair with regional recreation organizations sharing about summer camps and activities available for kids.

The Lakebay Fuchsia Society’s 18th Annual Plant Sale will also be available outside. The Key Peninsula History Museum will be open for tours, and the WSU Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer all your plant questions.
