I don't think I've ever come across a white Akita! So pretty!

It is the second white Akita we have owned. We had to put our other Akita to sleep this year. The Washington Akita Group was the foster parent. They only alocate Akita dogs to people that have owned Akitas before. The adoption process is almost as rigurous as a human. Yasha is perfect. We believe she was a show dog because of her behavior when being groomed, and how she carries herself. She is very sociable. We are very lucky. We would highly recommend looking into rescued dogs. Yasha has bonded well and must have had a loving family. We love her!

A couple of breakfast stop over visitors in our East Harbor Estates on their honeymoon a few weeks ago. :)

The visitors that I had mentioned that "stopped over" at our home a few weeks ago...was this beautiful 4 point Buck deer with his new found lady that were lounging next to our driveway that I shot a photo that I tried to attach and share on THE PATCH.

Oh gotcha! Were you able to upload the photo to the gallery above, Don? If not, please email me at akiko.oda@patch.com and I can help you out.

Wow -- some beautiful photos in the gallery! I love Michael Mixon's work, and that's some view you have from your deck, Bob!
