Grab a shovel and gloves and head to your local park on Saturday, April 21. The , and are hosting the annual Parks Appreciation Day from 9a.m. to noon, and local residents are invited to help beautify the parks.

Hotdog lunch will be served at noon for workers at or Key Peninsula LDS Church.
WHAT CAN I DO? You can get involved in this year’s event and add your name to the growing list of people showing their appreciation for our community’s parks.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING? Volunteers should wear appropriate clothes and shoes for the season, weather, and work. Bring gloves, shears, loppers, pruners, mattocks/polaskis, rakes, shovels—and be sure to label them.
Families and Individuals: No need to pre-register; just visit one of the sites listed below to help the groups, or drop by your favorite park or school for some cleanup.
