With summer in full swing, it’s time to soak up some vitamin D at PenMet Parks' this Saturday, July 14. The free event is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Gig Harbor’s .
As one of the sponsors, Gig Harbor Patch will also be at the event giving away free prizes and balloons.
Jump! Family Funfest is intended to bring the community together, celebrate families and promote community involvement and partnerships, according to Recreation Coordinator Gretchen Hayes.
“One of the great partnerships is with JUMP! As our title sponsor JUMP! is providing the bounce houses, slide and staffing the area which allowed us to keep the event free for the community,” said Hayes.

- Water Balloon Launch-fundraiser for youth scholarship fund (Play Fund) for children in our camps & classes.
- Fabulous Food Vendors with healthy options
- Master Gardener Demonstration Garden will be open on July 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. PenMet Parks will be hosting a plant clinic for people to come with their garden questions. There will also be tours of the demonstration garden and the Heritage Garden.

- Vortex Agility Dog Show with tricks and demonstrations
