Volunteers Needed: PenMet Parks Spring Easter Egg Hunt

PenMet Parks is still looking for volunteers to help out with the event on Saturday.

The fifth annual PenMet Parks Spring Easter Egg Hunt is this Saturday.

When: Saturday, April 7

Time: 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: (10123 – 78th Ave NW, Gig Harbor)

The event is not a race or run; everyone will get a set number of eggs and a prize. The Easter Bunny will also be on site for pictures.

encourages families to avoid the 12 p.m. rush and come around 1 p.m., when the crowds are lighter and parking is easier.

With more than 1,200 attendees, there will be plenty of opportunities for volunteers.

  • Parking Assistance (Working with Pierce County Cadets)
  • Line/Crowd Control
  • Pre-School Area Assistant
  • K-2 Grade Area Assistant
  • 3-6 Grade Area Assistant 
  • Bunny (plus assistant)
  • Photographers

If you are part of an organization that would like to help, please share this with your group. Please contact PenMet’s Eric Guenther at eguenther@penmetparks.org or 253-858-3400 ext. 222 with any specific job you would like to do or if you would be willing to help with wherever needed.

There will be a volunteer orientation meeting Saturday morning before the event.
