UPDATED: Photo of the Day: Hey There, It's Yogi Bear

Two Patch readers sent in this photo of a bear, who was seen snooping around the area recently.

Update: Evan Snyder of Gig Harbor also sent us a photo of this mischievous bear, which they ironically named, Yogi.

Here's what he told Patch:

He has been through our backyard twice now (located around 56th St NW & 38th Ave NW). The first time he demolished our bird feeders. The second time I saw him coming (literally) and was able to bring the feeders in before he got to close.

Attached is an image of Yogi trying to slink his way around the edge of our backyard. I'm sure he was disappointed that the bird seed was gone; I did discover (the next morning) that he had turned his attention towards our compost bin.

Last time we saw him was about 6 weeks ago around 7:30ish pm and he hung around the back edge of our backyard until dark. I'd estimate (on all fours) he's 3 1/2 to 4 feet tall (ground to his shoulders).

Look who's been snooping around Sandy Dawson's Artondale area home.

She said her 14-year-old daughter, Kait, snapped this photo of a bear snacking on some berries from their kitchen window Tuesday afternoon.

"Now we know who is taking our berries!" Dawson wrote in the email to Patch.
