Photo of the Day: Holiday Tree Arrives in Downtown Gig Harbor

The Gig Harbor Historic Waterfront Association posted the photo on its Facebook page Tuesday.

The holiday tree has officially made its way to Skansie Brothers Park in downtown Gig Harbor.

Joint Base Lewis-McChord has once again donated the tree, and the City of Gig Harbor Public Works Department transported the giant tree on Tuesday.

The Gig Harbor Historic Waterfront Association posted this photo on its Facebook page as crews used a crane to hoist the 45-foot tree. 

The City will be decorating the tree and the entire harbor in time for the .
