PHOTOS: High Tide Reaches Gig Harbor
Patch user photos show water creeping up the Gig Harbor shorelines during Monday's coastal flooding.
Washington shorelines, including Gig Harbor are experiencing coastal flooding thanks to the high tides.
City of Gig Harbor posted more photos of Skansie Brothers Park and Jerisich Dock.
"The Harbor area was considered very lucky that the winds died down before the peak tide. Direct high winds could have done even more damage to the shoreline," according to the city website. Click here to view more photos.
