WATCH: Comcast Employees Volunteer at Kenneth Leo Marvin Veterans Memorial Park

The crew was working as part of the 12th annual Comcast Cares Day.

On Saturday, Comcast employees converged on Kenneth Leo Marvin Veterans Memorial Park as part of the 12th-annual Comcast Cares Day.

As part of their effort to help change communities for the better, Comcast volunteers spread bark and did other park maintenance. Here's a recap of the effort from Comcast spokesman Walter Neary:

We had 25 people there at Kenneth Leo Marvin Veterans Memorial Park. Volunteers planted flowers, spread bark and weeded. The employees are based at the Comcast Bremerton office, which serves Gig Harbor. They were volunteering Saturday for the 12th annual Comcast Cares Day, the largest single corporate day  of service. There were 13 locations throughout Western Washington and Spokane with 2,000 volunteers.
