Here are some reader comments on Gig Harbor Patch Facebook Page: Susan: "From gig harbor all my life, currently living in ct... it's starting to get pretty windy here. several mandatory evacuations in the area. neighbors boarded up their house. biggest concern is the rain fall saturating the ground and toppling trees." Mike: "My wife and mother-in-law are in NYC right now. Their flight was leaving tomorrow but not anymore. I'll try to get her to post from there in a bit." Kris: "I live in Gig Harbor and on a trip in New York City. We can't fly out tomorrow and are getting thing to be able to stay in a hotel for a few days. It is getting windy but no rain yet. I will update frequently."
