Scheduled Closure Of State Route 302 Near Purdy on Thursday Night Canceled

Crews finished the work during night closures earlier in the week, including routine maintenance and repairs to the Purdy Spit bridge ends.

A scheduled closure of State Route 302 in Purdy on Thursday night has been cancelled because Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews have completed their work.

The work that was accomplished during night closures earlier in the week included routine maintenance and repairs to the Purdy Spit bridge ends to make a smoother transition for drivers as they cross the bridge.

WSDOT advises motorists to drive carefully through the area, as maintenance crews will still be present as they move equipment and clean the site.  All lanes, however, will remain open.
