SHARE: Photos From Gig Harbor's Tree Lighting

Post your photos from Saturday's annual tree lighting event at Skansie Brothers Park in Gig Harbor.

The tree-lighting event on Saturday, Dec. 1, officially kicks off the holiday season in Gig Harbor.

Starting 5 p.m., CenturyLink will be passing out Santa hats to all the kids, and the Gig Harbor Historic Waterfront Association will be providing free coffee, hot chocolate and cookies.

To help light the tree, Santa Claus will arrive via the Gig Harbor Fire and Medic One's ladder truck at 5:30 p.m.
