Tickets Still Available for Gig Harbor Wine and Food Festival

The third annual Gig Harbor Wine and Food Festival will take place at the Harbor History Museum this Saturday.

This year’s festival will feature the culinary talents of .

More than two dozen wineries and breweries will also be in attendance as well as a wide variety of chefs and restaurants.

In addition, there will be several classes available throughout the day. For the first time, they can be reserved online at www.harborwineandfoodfest.com.

Also new to this year’s festival, many local restaurants will be offering Friday night wine maker dinners.

Last year, more than 700 people attended the festival with a highlight of the event being the chef’s competition. This year Chef Holly Smith will compete in an “Iron Chef”-style competition against Chef Tin Nguyen, Executive Chef of the Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort. 

Parking for the Wine and Food Festival will be available at the Medical Center at 6401 Kimball Drive, as well as the parking lot at the downtown Columbia Bank on Judson Street (the old QFC parking lot).

Around the Sound, free shuttle service will be offered to and from these sites to the Wine and Food Festival for your convenience, courtesy of Ohana Harbor Coffee Company.
