Drawing Workshop: Understanding Value and Rendering Textures

NEW!  2nd Saturday Art Workshop at TCC-Gig Harbor

Students will use pencil, becoming skilled in value planning which is the secret to drawing realism.  Learn how to use shading to convey form.  In the afternoon, learn how to apply values with various techniques to render complex and intricate textures (glass, wood, stone and grasses, among others).  1/2 hour lunch break.  Please bring sack lunch as time will not allow more than a 1/2 hour break.  Students, please bring: white eraser, graphite pencil set and scrap drawing paper.  An additional $12 fee will be collected by the instructor to cover costs of additional supplies provided. 1 Session
