Educational and entertaining opera preview at Gig Harbor Library

People will learn about opera from an expert during a free event at , 4424 Point Fosdick Drive N.W., on Sunday, Feb. 5, at 2 p.m.  

Veteran opera lecturer Norm Hollingshead will inform and entertain with an enthusiastic preview of the Seattle Opera production of Christoph Willibald Gluck’s "Orpheus and Eurydice.”  

This sumptuous and exhilarating account of the legendary Greek hero’s descent into the underworld to rescue his true love changed the course of musical storytelling forever.
