Champion master pumpkin sculptor, Russ Leno, will be at Uptown Friday, October 28th from 9:30am – 3:00pm to carve a giant pumpkin. The pumpkin was grown on Holland’s Land O’Giants farm, located in the Sumner area of Washington State. The pavilion at Uptown Gig Harbor will be the location of the carving of this giant pumpkin.
The giant pumpkin carving is just one of several family-friendly Halloween events being held at Uptown Gig Harbor. On Monday, October 31st, there will be store-to-store Trick-or-Treating and arts and crafts from 4-6pm. Pizzeria Fondi will host a costume contest during Trick-or-Treating for kids 12 and under, announcing the winners at 6:45 pm inside the restaurant.
