Intertwined: Requiem for the Trees

In light of the at the , local artists have teamed up to create artworks to remember the trees before they're cut down soon.

Local artists Robin Peterson and Margo Macdonald spearheaded the project, Intertwined: Requiem for the Trees.

"We want the children to know that we did our best to protect their legacy, even when hard choices had to be made. We want their children to know what a centuries old tree looks like, feels like, smells like and how it resonated so strongly with our souls," they said.

During Oct. 1 to 16, the artworks will be displayed at the during its regular hours.
