Make Your Art Mark 
Make a Tile Mural at the Museum

 June 2nd, & 3rd, 2012
Saturday and Sunday 1-4pm each day

Join fellow Fox Island artists of all ages for a special mural art workshop at the museum. 

To create the mural, six inch ceramic tiles will be decorated and glazed (painted) with the flora (plants) and fauna (animals of land and sea). The mural, a map of Fox Island, will be 6 feet high by 10 feet long, highlighting important landmarks and displayed on the outside wall of the museum. 

We already have a list of over 75 ideas to paint. Artists of all abilities are welcomed. The museum will supply tiles, brushes, glaze, smocks and snacks. You supply the time, energy, fun, history and a $5 donation per tile. 

The outdoor wall mural crafted by professionals and islanders will be mounted on the front of the museum that families can visit year after year.
