Museum Introduces New Development Director

Gig Harbor resident, Tami McDaniel, will serve as the new Development Director of Harbor History Museum.

has named Tami McDaniel as the its new Development Director, effective Nov. 1, 2011. McDaniel will fill the role that .

McDaniel is currently the Donor Relations Manager in Bainbridge Island at IslandWood, “A School in the Woods”. She has been with IslandWood since August 2003, serving in various roles in their Development Department during her tenure.

“Tami is an excellent choice for the museum’s Development Director position. She has a proven track record as an exceptional fundraising professional during her time at IslandWood," said Museum President Frank Ruffo. "We are very fortunate to add her to our team.” 

McDaniel lives in Gig Harbor with her husband, Scott, and her two sons. She is thrilled to join the Harbor History Museum staff and is looking forward to working within the Gig Harbor community.

“I am excited to be a part of this local treasure. The Harbor History Museum brings our community together, connecting us to the area’s history as well as to each other," she said.
