VIDEO: Nashville Star Shines at Morso

Temple Thompson and her husband took the stage for Morso Wine Bar's Americana Music Series concert.

Country music singer-songwriter Templeton Thompson and her husband Sam Gay performed in front of a sold-out crowd at on Saturday, Feb. 5.

The Texas-born artist, who now lives in Nashville, is a big advocate for horses and also is the worldwide ambassador for EAGALA (the Equine Assisted Growth And Learning Association).

This concert of the Americana Music Series was co-sponsored by the wine bar and Healing Reins NW in Gig Harbor. The local organization uses horses to help people heal both mentally and physically.

The concert also auctioned off an autographed Breyer model of Thompson's horse, Jane. They raised $375 to benefit the Healing Reins.
