Summer Film Production Classes Available in Gig Harbor

Gig Harbor Film Festival and the Seattle Film Institute are teaming up to offer filmmaking classes this summer in Gig Harbor.

 Do you have a budding film-maker in your house? Or know someone who does? 

Gig Harbor will be home to a brand new filmmaking summer "academy" thanks to the cooperation between our own and the Seattle Film Institute. There will be three classes available starting in July. 

The following classes are scheduled:

Teen Program: The First Step Toward Your Dream

July 9-20, Monday – Friday 

9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Tuition: $790 (Age appropriate, 13-18)

Introduction to Filmmaking:

Saturdays, July 21, 28, Aug 4, 11

10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Tuition: $360  

The Language of Film:

Thursdays, Aug. 2, 9, 16

6:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m.

Tuition: $145

Registration is now open by calling the Gig Harbor Film Festival office at 253-851-FILM.
