The Harbor History Museum (HHM) is hosting its fourth annual “Splash! Art at the Museum” fundraising event this Saturday, March 16. The event, which will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the museum, supports participating artists and HHM special exhibits and education programs.
“Splash! Art at the Museum” is an evening of music and hors d’oeuvres featuring live and silent auctions of original, vibrant and eclectic art. Entertainment will be provided by Charli Meacham and Laurel Stone of the “Spare Thyme”.
This year’s “Splash!” event features an array of diversified art by northwest and international artists including William Carson, Barry Connolly, Scott Davies, Georgia Gerber, Doug Granum, David Keyes, Gerry Newcomb, James and Tom Torrens, and Lisa Stirrett.
Also featured is hand-blown glass art from Hilltop Artists in the historical one-room Midway Schoolhouse, along with art by local high school students. In addition, guest jurors Tom Torrens and David Keyes are helping with the art selection.
