VIDEO: The Refugees Launches Tour at Morso
A three-woman band called The Refugees entertained an enthusiastic crowd at Morso last Thursday night, in a performance that launched their national tour to promote their new album.
The Refugees performed at a packed on Thursday, March 31, as part of Morso's Americana Series.
Cindy Bullens, Deborah Holland and Wendy Waldman formed the band in 2007. Before coming together as a group, each member has more than three decades under her belt, and they have a combined total of 19 solo albums and multiple Grammy Award nominations.
The Refugees is set to release its second album, "Three," in June 2011.
