Local Lions Clubs Hosting Free Screening of 'Going Blind'

The Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula Lions Clubs will be hosting the free showing of the documentary, which was created by filmmaker-journalist Joseph Lovett. It focuses on the awareness of sigh loss and low vision issues in the country.

The Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula Lions Clubs are inviting the community for a free screening of Going Blind at the on Saturday, June 30, at 10 a.m.

The documentary, created by director Joseph Lovett, highlights how blindness or low vision are affecting people in the U.S.

Lovett, who was also diagnosed with glaucoma, travels across the country to learn how the six individuals in the film are responding to vision loss.
