Black Friday: What Time Do Major Stores, Malls Open?

Deal-hunters, here are opening times for area shopping centers and big box stores such as Target, as well as info on the Macy's Parade in Seattle.

The holiday shopping season kicks off in a big way with Black Friday, when retailers officially unveil their bargains. Some aren't even waiting until the Thanksgiving leftovers are cold.

Here are Black Friday (or Thursday) hours for area shopping centers and stores:

Tacoma Mall: Open at 12 a.m. - 10 p.m. Friday, Macy's also opens at midnight. JC Penney opens at 6 a.m., and Nordstrom opens at 8 a.m. Here's a look at the deals at Tacoma Mall.

Kitsap Mall: Open at 12 a.m. Friday. Here are the Black Friday deals.

Auburn Mall: Open at 12:30 a.m. Friday.

Target: Open at 9 p.m. Thursday. Here are the "doorbuster" deals.

Walmart: Open at 8 p.m. Thursday. Here are the early deals.

Sears: Open at 8 p.m. Thursday. Here are the Black Friday deals.

Kohl's: Open at 12 a.m. Friday. Here are the Black Friday deals.

Best Buy: Open at 12 a.m. Friday. Here are the "doorbuster" deals.

Old Navy: Open at 12 a.m. Friday. 

Marshalls: Open at 7 a.m. Friday.

Downtown Seattle: Westlake Center opens at 8 a.m. The Macy's Parade starts at 9 a.m., with the tree lighting at 5 p.m.
