Brown Bear Car Wash Gives Free Wash on Aug. 25
Brown Bear Car Wash has several locations with a tunnel car wash in Pierce County.
If you have a dirty car, truck, SUV or van and like the concept of free - as in, you don't pay anything - be grateful for Thursday, Aug. 25.
Brown Bear Car Wash will celebrate its 54th anniversary by giving a free car wash from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for this one-time offer, the company announced Tuesday. The company is offering a free "Bear Essential" wash.
The nearest participating Brown Bear Car Wash is located in north Fircrest, 5950 6th Ave.

If you happened to be near the Tacoma Mall next Thursday, you can get your free car wash at 3002 South 38th St.
During the past five years, the company said, it has washed 105,640 vehicles during its annual event to mark the company's beginning.

He launched the company in 1957 with a location on 15th Avenue West in Seattle.
