Community Leaders Honored at Annual Crystal Eve Awards Dinner

The annual event, organized by the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce, honored five local leaders for their outstanding service to the Gig Harbor community.

On Saturday, Dec. 1, Canterwood Golf and Country Club hosted the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce's Annual Crystal Eve Awards Dinner Celebration.

The evening began with a cocktail hour and each guest was treated to crystal and silver etched wine goblet

The Chamber honored individuals and businesses for their outstanding service to the Gig Harbor community. This year's winners were:

Col. Paul Norwood of the 201st Battlefield Surveillance Brigade, Gig Harbor’s Community Liaison, was also present to accept the gifts and cash donations for Joint Base Lewis-McChord’s Santa’s Castle sponsored by the 191st Infantry Brigade.

The program has been providing toys for military families since 1994. This year, the Chamber collected 148 toys and $2,200 in cash donations.

The Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce is proud to have been an integral part of this amazing program for the past five years.
