Few months later, the owners announced that the restaurant would be relocating to the former Harbor Monsoon building at 4628 Pt. Fosdick Dr. NW in Gig Harbor.

“We have some exciting plans for the new space, from awesome new dishes, new interior design and new exterior that will reflect the richness and beauty of traditional Mexico,” said Bernie Garcia, Moctezuma’s Director of Operations in November.

He also added that the newly renovated Moctezuma’s will feature a new bar menu with small plates and signature cocktails.
