Join the Pumpkin Decorating Contest
The Gig Harbor Historic Waterfront Association's third annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest is back, and coupons are now available for those interested in participating.
As a part of the Halloween festivities, the is sponsoring the third annual “Pumpkin Decorating Contest".
Here's how you can participate:
- Pick up a coupon for a free pumpkin at participating waterfront businesses, identified by a sign in their windows. (One coupon per household.)
- Bring your coupon to the on Tuesday, Oct. 25 between 2 and 6 p.m. and pick up your pumpkin, donated by Charlie’s Produce, while supplies last.
- Return your carved, painted or embellished pumpkin to the Museum on Saturday, Oct. 29 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for judging.
- Your pumpkin will then be delivered to a “host” business. Follow the map to participating merchants and search for your pumpkin in the Historic Waterfront District while
In order to provide a safe venue for the Trick-or-Treaters, Harborview Drive will be closed from the intersection of Soundview and Judson and around the waterfront to Stinson.
