Moctezuma's Temporarily Closes During Safeway Construction

Moctezuma's Restaurant said its Gig Harbor location will be closed for several months due to the Safeway construction. In the meantime, enjoy a free appetizer while you're at the Tacoma location.

Moctezuma's Restaurant said it will close its Gig Harbor location on Pt. Fosdick Drive NW for several months while the is underway.

The Mexican restaurant posted the following message on its Facebook page Monday:

"Due to Safeway redevelopment, we have closed our Gig Harbor location during construction. We will be back in a few months! In the meantime, you can enjoy our deliciousness at our Tacoma location!"

But don't worry, you can still feast on Moctezuma's Fiesta Queso Dip or any of the dishes at its Tacoma location at 4102 S. 56th St. You can even score a free appetizer with the coupon posted on the Gig Harbor KOMO site.

The new Safeway store is expected to open later this year.
