Mom's Escape: Happiness is Sonja Clothes To Live In

Tired of your wardrobe? Want that PERFECT dress? Need a fab gift? Wanna have a little fun? Look no further than Sonja Clothes To Live In. You'll be happy you did!

Sonja Silver, the owner of Sonja Clothes To Live In, currently located in the Old Bridge District of North Tacoma (new location coming post May 1! See important notes below) opened her store for one, simple reason.

She couldn't find clothes that made her happy.

How many of us can relate to that?

That's what I thought. Plenty. Finding clothes that work, whether it's just to brighten your day, return to the workplace, transition with a changing body after having babies, or to boost your spirits is no easy task. Plus, combining a little bit of fun with it is tough for any busy mom.

So, this is where Sonja comes in.

Her mission? Making shopping pleasurable. Her store? Fresh, friendly, and fun. What do women want? Clothes that fit, look stylish, make them feel good, offers something unique, boasts quality, and are reasonably priced. That's Sonja Clothing to Live In.

Here's what Sonja offers:

  • Jackets
  • Trousers
  • Lounge wear

Sounds like a great store? Wait, there's more.

Don't have time to make it into the store during regular business hours? No problem. You can schedule your own shopping party in the evening with your friends! Just call and set it up. Easy as that.

Every Friday at 4:00 PM is the Four O'Clock club. A little conversation, laughter, community, reconnecting and making new friends, and even a little chocolate (!) comes with this shopping experience.

Hot Tip: Here's a super new and cool service of Sonja Clothing to Live In. My Store, To Your Doortakes your closet and your wardrobe to a whole new level.

Here's how it works. Purchase a gift card ($300 minimum and it is applied to your purchases). Sonja will ask you about your preferences, lifestyle, and other details about what you are looking for. She will bring clothing to your home and review your closet. Clothes that work for you stay, clothes that aren't working, go. The new items (selected with you in mind and to simplify your life) complete your look and take you where you want to go. Old items are taken either to consign or donated to your favorite charity. It really is as easy as that.

Morning, evening, and Sunday appointments will be available after May 4th. Click HERE for contact information.

 Happy shopping!

 Other important notes:

The store will soon to move to Tacoma's Proctor District.. The current location closes May 1.

Check the business Facebook page and website for announcements and contact information for the new location. In the meantime, you can shop via Facebook or call to book an event.

Fun local fact: Did you know that Sonja is a Fircrest native? In fact, her father was the mayor of Fircrest in the 1950's. He was instrumental getting the Recreation Center, the pool, and Whittier school built. He also founded Fircrest Fun Days!
