YMCA Healthy Kids Day is a national initiative to improve the health and well being of kids with the aim of getting kids and families more active and engaged in learning about maintaining healthy habits. What is it: Help discover the next big star by attending the Fourth Annual Gig Harbor Kiwanis Star Search talent contest at the Gig Harbor Yacht Club. Doors open at 6 p.m. and show starts at 7 p.m. Finalists will perform for an audience and judges. The audience gets to decide the winner. There will be hors d'oeuvres served and no host bar available.
